Lucia is a  6yr old spayed female mastiff with a heart of pure gold.  She is all that is great about the Mastiff breed.

This beautiful and gentle girl has been observed to be very good with older children, loves to have her belly rubbed and is very obedient.  She walks great on a leash and loves to go for rides in the car.  She knows her basic obedience commands  and is housetrained.

Lucia gets along great with other dogs, she currently lives with an older male and younger female mastiff.   Lucia and her little sister love to play and wrestle.   She will chase a ball and loves her toys.

Lucia is a talker, she will speak up and let you know if she needs to go out or if it is dinner time.  Her foster family has a busy schedule so sometimes Lucia and her siblings are left in the house uncrated for extended periods of time – no issues with separation anxiety or bladder control have arisen.

Lucia does have a minor obsession with the foster family’s cat.  The cat and she have come to an agreement and can now be in the same room without incident, but it would be best for all involved if her permanent family did not have a cat.
